Sailing from Freeport, Long Island, my private fishing charters are designed for smaller groups. Striped Bass, Fluke, Sea Bass, Porgies, Blues, Tog and Cod. All full day trips can be turned into “combo trips” which allow you to target multiple species. Bottom fishing is my specialty. The rates include tackle, rigs, bait, ice and fish cleaning.

Booking a Trip

Prime dates such as weekends, holidays are in demand and book fast, so advanced reservations are recommended. For charters, a $100 deposit is required to secure the date. Any cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the day of the trip for refund or rescheduling. Open/split charters do not require a deposit; however a reservation is a must.

Here is a short list of items you should consider bringing for your trip aboard the Sea Rogue:

- Something to eat and drink (remember, there is a cooler with ice on board)

- Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen

- Warm clothing (it’s always a little cooler on the water)

- Boat shoes or sneakers (no dark sole shoes or flip flops)

- Rain gear (better to have it)

- Cooler to bring home the day’s catch

Weather

Weather decisions are entirely up to the captain's discretion and safety always comes first. You will receive a phone call the day before the trip to confirm sea conditions. In the event of a cancellation, your trip will be rescheduled or your deposit will be refunded. It's entirely up to you.
